Edmund Rice College’s Farm in Bindoon offers high school students the opportunity to learn a variety of agricultural based skills through hands-on involvement on a real-life working farm, which includes an olive grove. Olive Enterprises produces EVOO from the Verdale and Sevillano varieties grown on the farm.
Jumanga Olives grow, process and produce premium extra virgin olive oil, flavoured oils, and table olives. Varieties include Barnea, Correggiola, Frantoio, Kalamata, Koroneiki, Leccino, Manzanillo, Sevillano and WA Mission. As well as pressing their own olives, Jumanga Olives offer contract processing to other olive groves.
Sathya Olive Company is a ‘Clean and Green’ property 160km south of Perth that utilises sustainable farming practises to produce high quality oils and olive products. Sathya Olive Company produce extra virgin olive oil, infused olive oil and pickled olives that exhibit a unique blend of Western and eastern touches. Tarralea Grove is situated 50 kms south of Perth bordering on the Serpentine National forest. Owners Barry and Anne Sander began establishing their grove in 2002. They now produce a range of gold medal award winning oils, offering both extra virgin and flavour-infused oils (this season's range includes lemon, lime, orange and garlic). Their oils are stocked at several local outlets, as well as selected locations further afield.
